What is the ISE5010D?
The ISE5010D is an unmanaged 10-port industrial Gigabit Ethernet switch with 8× 10/100/1000BaseT copper + 2× 100/1000BaseX SFP uplinks. Layer 2, fanless, IP40, DIN-rail mounted, redundant 18–60 V DC dual power input. 20 Gbps backplane, 4K MAC table. Operating temperature −40 °C to +75 °C. Certifications: CE, FCC.
How do I install and power the ISE5010D?
Mount on a 35 mm DIN rail. Connect the redundant power inputs to an 18–60 V DC source (note: 18–60 V DC only, not the wider 9.6 V range of smaller ISE models). Install compatible 100BaseFX or 1000BaseSX/LX SFP modules for fiber uplink, or use the SFP ports for short-range copper SFP. Plug-and-play.
What configuration options does the ISE5010D have?
Two physical DIP switches: QoS (2-queue WRR priority) and Broadcast Storm Protection. The two SFP uplink ports auto-negotiate 100 or 1000 Mbps based on the installed module. No web GUI, no CLI.
When should I choose the ISE5010D vs ISM5010D?
Choose ISE5010D for unmanaged Gigabit deployments where you need fiber uplinks but don’t need software configuration. Choose ISM5010D when you need the same port count (8 Gigabit copper + 2 SFP) with full Layer 2 management (VLAN, RSTP, IGMP, LACP, ACL, SNMP, port mirroring) and remote configuration. ISM5010D adds 2.5G SFP support and a 44 Gbps backplane.
