Each is available with optional -BAT (1000 mAh battery) and -ANT (external SMA antenna) suffixes — for example, VT200-FQ02-ANT-BAT . Regulatory certifications: CE, FCC, IC, PTCRB, E-Mark.
How do I configure the VT200?
The VT200 is configured using the VT3 (or VT310) Windows desktop tool — there is no web management interface or Ethernet port. Connect the VT200 to your Windows 10 / 11 computer via USB Type-C at 115200 baud. Open the VT3 tool, load the device, and configure cellular APN, GPS reporting, and sleep mode parameters through the tool’s GUI tabs.
How do I configure cellular APN on the VT200?
In the VT3 tool, open the Mobilfunk tab for the connected VT200. Enter the APN; username and password are optional and only required for private/enterprise SIMs. Save and write the configuration to the device. The VT200 dials up automatically on power-on. Verify by observing the Cellular LED — flashing 0.5 Hz indicates connected; 1 Hz indicates dialing.
How do I configure sleep mode for trailer or parked-vehicle tracking?
The VT200’s sleep mode enables location reporting on parked or unpowered trailers. In the VT3 tool, go to System Settings > Sleep Mode. Configure the wake interval (how often the device powers up to report) and enable IGT wake-up so the device fully wakes when vehicle ignition is detected. Combine with the optional -BAT SKU (1000 mAh battery) to keep tracking alive when the vehicle’s primary power is disconnected.
