What is the ISE5005D?
The ISE5005D is an unmanaged 5-port industrial Gigabit Ethernet switch with 5× 10/100/1000BaseT copper RJ45 ports. Layer 2, fanless, IP30, DIN-rail mounted, redundant 9.6–60 V DC / 18–30 V AC dual power input. 16 Gbps backplane, 4K MAC table. Operating temperature −40 °C to +75 °C. Certifications: CE, FCC.
How do I install and power the ISE5005D?
Mount on a 35 mm DIN rail. Connect the redundant power inputs to a 9.6–60 V DC or 18–30 V AC source. Connect Gigabit Ethernet devices to the 5× RJ45 ports. Plug-and-play; no software setup required.
What configuration options does the ISE5005D have?
Two physical DIP switches: QoS (2-queue WRR priority) and Broadcast Storm Protection. The ISE5005D has no web GUI, no CLI, and no SNMP — these DIPs are the only configurable options.
When should I choose the ISE5005D vs ISM5006D?
Choose ISE5005D when 5 Gigabit copper ports are sufficient and you don’t need software management. Choose ISM5006D when you need a managed Gigabit switch with 4 copper + 2 SFP uplinks, full VLAN/STP/SNMP support, and remote management. ISM5006D adds Layer 2 management features (VLAN, RSTP, IGMP snooping, LACP, ACL) that the unmanaged ISE5005D does not provide.
