EN 18031: Upgraded Cybersecurity Standard for Communication Devices
EN 18031 is a vital supplement to the EU Radio Equipment Directive (RED), defining on-device cybersecurity requirements. Starting August 1, 2025, any wireless device with networking or data-transmission capabilities must meet EN 18031 to carry the CE mark and access the European market.
