Which carriers are certified with the VG710-H?

VG710-H-NRQ5 (5G NR, global, 3GPP Release 16) is certified with Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and FirstNet (5G), plus FCC, IC, PTCRB, CE, E-Mark, ITxPT, and RoHS. VG710-H-NRQ3 (5G NR, global, 3GPP Release 15) is certified with Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Rogers, Bell (Canada), and FirstNet (LTE/4G). The VG710-H is the 5G version with RJ45 Ethernet + SMA antenna connectors, 1 GB DDR3 RAM, dual-band Wi-Fi 5, BLE, and multi-constellation GNSS with dead reckoning.

The VG710-H requires the ignition (IGT) signal to power on. Wire the IGT pin on the 4-pin power connector to the vehicle’s ignition-controlled circuit; without IGT, the device remains off. Input voltage: 9–36 V DC. After IGT is asserted, LEDs light and the boot sequence begins. Configure ignition delay and delayed-power-off behavior at Administration > System > Basic Setup. Default Wi-Fi: SSID VG710-XXXXXX / VG710-5G-XXXXXX .

Insert the SIM with the device powered off. Apply IGT to power on — the VG710-H auto-detects the carrier and applies the matching APN in most cases, so no manual setup is needed. If the cellular link does not come up, log in to http://192.168.2.1 , go to Network > Cellular > Cellular, configure the APN, authentication, and dual-SIM enable on the same page, and click Apply. Verify by checking the Cellular LED: steady green = network connected; blinking green = data transmitting; off = no network connection. The SIM LED indicates SIM card detection.

The VG710-H is the 5G version with RJ45 Ethernet + SMA antenna connectors — designed for commercial fleet and standard in-vehicle deployments. The VG710-M uses M12 X/D-coded Ethernet + FAKRA antenna connectors for vibration-resistant cabling — designed for rail, public transit, and heavy-duty vehicles (EN50155 / EN50121 / EN61373 / EN45545 certified); available in 5G or 4G LTE cellular variants. The 4G VG710 is the LTE Cat 6 version with RJ45 + SMA, for commercial-fleet deployments where 4G LTE meets the bandwidth requirement.
