What is the ISM5026U?

The ISM5026U is a Layer 2 managed 1U rack-mount industrial Gigabit switch with 20× Gigabit copper + 4× combo (SFP/RJ45) + 2× SFP uplinks. Fanless, redundant 100–240 V AC/DC power input. 56 Gbps backplane, 8K MAC table. Operating temperature −40 °C to +85 °C. Certifications: CE, FCC. Designed for control room rack cabinets where AC power is standard.

Mount in a standard 1U slot of a 19″ rack cabinet using the supplied rack-mount brackets. Connect to standard 100–240 V AC mains power (or DC if your facility uses DC distribution). The redundant power inputs accept either AC or DC for high availability.

Connect your PC directly to any copper port. Set the PC’s IP to 192.168.2.2 / 255.255.255.0. Go to http://192.168.2.1 and log in with device-label credentials. The ISM5026U does not run DHCP by default.

Choose ISM5026U for control room rack cabinets where 19″ rack mounting and 100–240 V AC mains power are standard — typical for office IT closets, data centers, and traditional industrial control rooms. Choose ISM5020D for DIN-rail mounting in distributed industrial cabinets with 24 V DC power and where Layer 3 routing or IEC 61850-3 substation certification is required.
