What is the ISE3018D?
The ISE3018D is an unmanaged 18-port industrial Ethernet switch with 16× 10/100BaseT copper + 2× 100/1000Base combo uplinks (SFP or RJ45). Layer 2, fanless, IP30, DIN-rail mounted, redundant 9.6–60 V DC / 18–30 V AC dual power input. 8.8 Gbps backplane, 8K MAC table. Operating temperature −40 °C to +75 °C. Certifications: CE, FCC, UL.
How do I install and power the ISE3018D?
Mount on a 35 mm DIN rail. Connect the redundant power inputs. Use the 16× RJ45 ports for industrial devices and the 2× combo uplinks (either as Gigabit copper or as 100/1000 SFP fiber) to connect the switch to a higher-speed backbone or NVR. Plug-and-play; no software setup.
What configuration options does the ISE3018D have?
Two physical DIP switches: QoS and Broadcast Storm Protection. The combo uplink ports auto-detect whether a copper or SFP module is connected. No web GUI or CLI.
When should I choose the ISE3018D vs ISM5012D?
Choose ISE3018D when you need 18 Fast Ethernet ports with Gigabit uplinks and don’t need software management, VLANs, or remote configuration. Choose ISM5012D when you need a managed switch with 12 Gigabit ports + 4× SFP, full VLAN/STP/SNMP, and IEC 61850-3 substation certification. ISM5012D supports remote management and ring redundancy (ERPS, EAPS); ISE3018D does not.
