Which certifications does the CR202-Lite carry?
CR202-NAC6-WLAN-B/NA-Lite (LTE Cat 6, North America) is certified with Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and FirstNet (LTE/4G), plus FCC, IC, and PTCRB. CR202-EUC4-WLAN-B/NA-Lite (LTE Cat 4, Europe/APAC) is CE-certified. The B/NA suffix indicates Battery (3000 mAh, ~8 hours runtime) or No-battery configuration. Only NA SKUs include the embedded eSIM; EU/APAC SKUs use external nano-SIM only.
How do I verify the CR202-Lite has a cellular connection?
Check the Network LED (Globe icon). The Globe LED must be steady for cellular to be online — green for strong signal, yellow for medium, red for weak. Blinking green means dialing up; blinking yellow or red indicates a dial error or SIM/modem issue. Off means cellular is disabled.
How do I access the CR202-Lite web interface?
Power on the device. Connect your laptop via Ethernet to a LAN port, or join the default Wi-Fi SSID printed on the device label. Open a browser and go to http://192.168.2.1 . Log in with the credentials printed on the nameplate. If the page doesn’t load, set your network adapter to DHCP or a 192.168.2.x static IP.
How do I configure dual-SIM failover on the CR202-Lite NA SKU?
The CR202-Lite NA SKU supports a physical nano-SIM plus an embedded Verizon eSIM. Log in and go to Network > Cellular:
- Set the Main SIM (Nano or eSIM) — this is the primary that dials up at boot.
- Tick Show Advanced Options, then Dual SIM Enable.
- Pick the carrier profile in Nano SIM Network Provider and eSIM Network Provider (or edit the APN via Manage).
- For reliable failover, set ICMP Detection Mode to Ignore Traffic, enter a reachable target in ICMP Detection Server (e.g.,
8.8.8.8), and adjust ICMP Detection Interval and Timeout as needed. The device pings that target on the active SIM; if pings fail, it switches to the backup SIM. - Click Apply.
Without ICMP detection, failover only triggers on a hard modem-level disconnect, which can miss “registered but no internet” failure modes.
