Which cellular carriers are certified with the IR624?

IR624-NRQ3 (5G NR, North America) is certified with Verizon (NSA), AT&T, and T-Mobile, plus FirstNet (5G), FCC, IC, and PTCRB. IR624-NRF4 is the Europe/APAC 5G SKU (CE-certified). IR624-FQ58 is the Europe/APAC LTE Cat 4 SKU. IR624-NRF2 serves China (5G). IR624-EN00 is the no-cellular variant. All SKUs include 1× RS232 and 1× RS485 serial; Wi-Fi is optional per the -WLAN or -NA suffix.

The IR624 uses InHand DeviceLive for cloud management. Registration is done in the DeviceLive portal — no configuration is needed on the device’s web GUI. Log in to your DeviceLive tenant, click Add Device, and enter the IR624’s serial number and credentials from the device label. Once the IR624 has internet connectivity, it automatically connects to DeviceLive and appears online in the portal.

With the device powered off, insert the SIM card. Power on — the IR624 auto-detects the carrier and applies the matching APN in most cases, so no manual setup is needed. If the cellular link does not come up, log in, go to Internet > Cellular, enter the APN per your carrier’s requirements, and click Apply. Verify by checking the front-panel cellular signal-bar LEDs: any bars lit indicate cellular is connected with signal (more bars = stronger signal); all bars off = no cellular signal.

In the IR624 web GUI, go to Industrial Interface > DTU to configure RS-485 serial-to-IP tunneling, Modbus RTU-to-TCP conversion, and related parameters. Set the baud rate, parity, stop bits, and data bits to match the connected serial device.
