How do I install and power the ISM5010D?
Mount on a 35 mm DIN rail. Connect redundant 18–60 V DC dual power inputs. The 8× Gigabit copper ports support all standard speeds; the 2× SFP slots accept 100, 1000, or 2.5G modules. Use the console port for initial out-of-band CLI access or proceed to web management.
How do I access the ISM5010D web interface?
Connect your PC directly to any copper port. Set your PC’s IP to 192.168.2.2 / 255.255.255.0 (the switch does not run DHCP by default). Open a browser and go to http://192.168.2.1 . Log in with the credentials on the device label.
How do I set up ring redundancy (ERPS) on the ISM5010D?
The ISM5010D supports ERPS (G.8032), EAPS, and MEAPS for ring redundancy with sub-50 ms failover. Go to Network > Ring Configuration. Create a ring instance, assign two ring ports, and set this switch as the master, transit, or RPL owner. Configure the same ring on every switch in the loop. ERPS automatically blocks the redundant link until a failure forces failover. Confirm convergence under Network > Ring > Status.
