How do I install and power the ISM5026U?
Mount in a standard 1U slot of a 19″ rack cabinet using the supplied rack-mount brackets. Connect to standard 100–240 V AC mains power (or DC if your facility uses DC distribution). The redundant power inputs accept either AC or DC for high availability.
How do I access the ISM5026U web interface?
Connect your PC directly to any copper port. Set the PC’s IP to 192.168.2.2 / 255.255.255.0. Go to http://192.168.2.1 and log in with device-label credentials. The ISM5026U does not run DHCP by default.
When should I choose the ISM5026U vs the DIN-rail ISM5020D?
Choose ISM5026U for control room rack cabinets where 19″ rack mounting and 100–240 V AC mains power are standard — typical for office IT closets, data centers, and traditional industrial control rooms. Choose ISM5020D for DIN-rail mounting in distributed industrial cabinets with 24 V DC power and where Layer 3 routing or IEC 61850-3 substation certification is required.
