What does the ES220 offer?

The ES220 is an unmanaged Layer 2 Gigabit Ethernet switch series for small retail, branch, and SMB networks — plug-and-play, no software, no cloud account. All ports are 10/100/1000 Mbps with auto MDI/MDIX, store-and-forward switching, fanless metal enclosure, desktop or wall mount. Four SKUs:

The ES220 is plug-and-play — no configuration needed.

  1. Place the switch on a desk or mount it to a wall using the supplied bracket holes.
  2. Connect the supplied power adapter (5 V DC for non-PoE SKUs; 55 V DC for PoE SKUs).
  3. Plug Ethernet devices into any port. PoE-capable models negotiate 802.3af/at automatically with attached PoE devices.

The Power LED lights solid when powered, and per-port link LEDs indicate active connections. PoE SKUs include a separate per-port PoE indicator.

The ES220-4P-1T includes a physical One-Click VLAN toggle for instant LAN isolation. When enabled, ports 1–4 are isolated from each other but each remains connected to the uplink port 5. This prevents broadcast storms and cross-port snooping in deployments like retail kiosk networks where each connected device should reach the internet but not see the others — without writing any VLAN configuration. Flip the toggle off to return to standard switching.

Choose by port count and whether you need PoE:

  • No PoE, 5 ports → ES220-5T (small office, point-of-sale corner).
  • PoE, 5 ports → ES220-4P-1T (4× PoE for cameras / APs / IP phones up to 52 W shared, plus the One-Click VLAN toggle for kiosk-style isolation).
  • No PoE, 8 ports → ES220-8T (workgroup or branch switch).
  • PoE, 9 ports → ES220-8P-1T (8× PoE up to 120 W shared; recommended when you have multiple cameras or a small AP cluster).

For larger sites, cloud-managed deployment, or 802.3af/at across more than 8 PoE ports, step up to the ES620 enterprise switch.
