La tecnolog\u00eda NAT reduce el rendimiento de la red.<\/strong><\/p><p>Actualmente, la soluci\u00f3n de direccionamiento limitado es la tecnolog\u00eda NAT (traducci\u00f3n de direcciones de red). NAT consiste en convertir m\u00faltiples hosts de la intranet en una IP p\u00fablica para conectarse a Internet. Si bien esto puede solucionar temporalmente el problema de la escasez de direcciones, tambi\u00e9n genera otros problemas. La traducci\u00f3n de direcciones ejerce una gran presi\u00f3n sobre los equipos, lo que inevitablemente reduce el rendimiento de la red, aumenta la latencia y empeora la experiencia del usuario.<\/p><p><strong>3. NAT no puede resolver completamente el problema de la escasez de direcciones.<\/strong><\/p><p>Dado que NAT reconoce que una direcci\u00f3n de red p\u00fablica transporta el tr\u00e1fico de m\u00faltiples usuarios, el n\u00famero de puerto se utiliza para distinguir las conexiones de diferentes usuarios. Incapacidad para adaptarse al desarrollo del Internet de las Cosas.<\/strong><\/p><p>Todo est\u00e1 interconectado y todo necesita direcciones IP. Por supuesto, IPv4 es insuficiente. IPv6 introduce el concepto de encabezado extendido, que permite ampliar el campo del encabezado seg\u00fan sea necesario y realizar las funciones requeridas. Por ejemplo, si necesitas fragmentar IP, puedes a\u00f1adir el encabezado de extensi\u00f3n para fragmentaci\u00f3n.<\/p><p>Adem\u00e1s, IPv6 elimina el mecanismo de difusi\u00f3n y lo reemplaza por la multidifusi\u00f3n, lo que reduce el consumo de recursos de los mensajes de difusi\u00f3n en toda la red.
