July 17, 2023 \u2013 We are proud to announce that the VG814 5G vehicle gateway has received the ITxPT label after passing the ITxPT compliance tests, and is now listed in the\u00a0ITxPT catalog<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>

ITxPT, short for “Information Technology for Public Transport,” is a set of specifications developed by the\u00a0ITxPT<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0non-profit association, which was founded in 2016. These specifications provide recommendations and requirements for public transport authorities and operators, ensuring the purchase and integration of interoperable IT architecture. The ITxPT specifications are freely available to anyone and widely adopted by industry suppliers, who design their equipment and services accordingly.<\/p>

ITxPT defines interoperability across hardware, communication protocols, and service levels, covering various modules such as inventory management, time service, GNSS location, FMStoIP, VEHICLEtoIP, AVMS, APC, MADT, and MQTT Broker. In July 2022, ITxPT released Sequoia specifications, further enhancing the expansion and integrity of onboard communication systems.<\/p>
