The AUDICOR 200 platform is a good example of the high performance at low-power consumption that is available through the engineering services of InHand Electronics. Powered by a lithium ion battery, the unit can run up to 50 reports, or print continuously for up to 5 hours on a single charge.

The unit connects wirelessly to a printer via an Elf3 onboard Bluetooth module. With an environmental operating range of 32°F – 104°F, the unit is relatively durable, CSA certified, and IEC 601-1 compliant.

AUDICOR uses the Elf3 platform, with Intel’s PXA255 processor and Microsoft’s Windows CE operating system, which provides up to 32 MB for flash, 64 MB SDRAM, and hosts onboard Bluetooth and GPS options. The Elf3 also provides power consumption monitoring through InHand’s exclusive BatterySmart software to provide a low-power consumption solution for a wide range of products.
